Welcome to MealGrid ai!

This guide is your post-download onboarding: first you’ll take a quick read-only tour of the template, then you’ll activate MealGrid AI, then you’ll personalize settings — and finally you’ll run your first menu → shopping loop.

🧭 Orientation & Tour (Recommended — don’t change anything yet)

Goal: understand what MealGrid is, what’s included, and how the system fits together — before setup.

1. Open the Entry Page: MealGrid ai
2. Open the Command Center: MealGrid Dashboard
3. Click into the 5 core areas (browse only):
   • Recipes
   • Pantry
   • Menus
   • Shopping List
   • Prompt Library
4. Read Welcome to MealGrid for the full “how this system is organized” overview.

✅ You’re done when: you can describe the loop in one sentence: Recipes → Menus → Shopping List → Pantry.

🤖 Activate MealGrid AI (one-time setup)

Goal: make your duplicated template functional in your workspace.

Step 1 — Create Olive first

Follow the instructions in the Agent Custom Instructions Library to create Olive (Hub Operations Lead). Olive helps with the next step.

Step 2 — Run the Collection ID Setup Prompts (do this once)

After Olive is created, run the 9 setup prompts (Prompts 0–8) from your Prompt Library. These replace placeholder database IDs in the agent instruction pages with your workspace's actual IDs.
